its like you dont understand that to make something you have to build it up with solid steps. it’s like you dont WANT positive attention and encouragement and this to be discussed and accepted, you want to just hide and scream until everyones guilty enough to pipe sugar out their ass to you and put the LGBT community on some pedestal above everyone

I’ve never really encountered anyone who’s been rude to me about being a Straight Ally, but I’m aware that this kind of thing does happen and it’s happens with just about every other oppressed or minority group out there so really, it isn’t new.
But to those out there who think this is okay, it isn’t.
Allies are there to help and support you and they want you to be treated like human beings and not second-class citizens. Regardless of their sexuality, gender, race … etc., you should embrace the support, not shoot fireballs at it and hope it burns and dies.
If you want things to change, then change your attitudes first and treat others the way you want to be treated.
